Phat Beets Produce is a member of "OCUEJ" (Oakland Communities United for Equity and Justice), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based out of Oakland, Ca.  Other members include sister orgs "Self-Help Hunger Program" and the "North Oakland Restorative Justice Council." Our work cannot exist without your support. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation. Any amount helps, and will be put to good use.

Members help sustain the mission of Phat Beets Produce with a yearly 1x contribution. Members get invited to our annual pancake brunch, a gift, and a 10% discount on all Phat Beets Produce Brand Products.



Support Dover Street Edible Park

Your donation will go towards Friends of Dover Street Park (the community advisory group that helps maintain this unique edible park). The money will be used for compost, tools, seeds, fruit trees, shrubs, and signage. This 1/4 edible landscape is free and open to the public 7 days a week and hosts over 65 fruit trees and over 100 varieties of free fruits, vegetables and herbs for the community. The edible park is home to the Fresh Fellows Youth Program as well.


Support Fresh Fellows Youth Program

Your donation will go towards sustaining the Fresh Fellows Youth Program, a food justice garden program that engages youth at risk of diet related illness from the Healthy Hearts Clinic at Children's Hospital Oakland. The program is hosted at our Dover St. Edible Park, which is a 1/4 unfenced garden and food forest in North Oakland located inside of the Dover St. Park.

This fund supports the general work of Self Help Hunger Program for a 1x donation. Funds are used for the weekly feeding program, free produce giveaways, community celebrations, memorial fruit tree orchard, and eviction defense for Aunti Frances.


Monthly Sustainer Self Help Hunger Program

Becoming a monthly supporter of the Self Help Hunger Program at Drivers Plaza. Your contribution will help sustain the weekly meal and produce givewaway at Drivers Plaza by the Self Help Hunger Program. In addition your monthly contribution will also support our Memorial Fruit Orchard and quarterly community celebrations. Public Land for Public Good! All Power to the People!
